missing elevator missing kettle

the hotel lacked an elevator, meaning i had to haul my suitcase up several flights of stairs. this was inconvenient and frustrating after a long journey. also, the room didn't have a kettle, so i couldn't even make a simple cup of tea. the lack of a kettle felt cheap and poorly considered, this was definitely annoying.

WOW, What a Gem!

clean room helpful staff free waffles

i found my room VERY clean and equipped with a fridge. The staff REALLY helped me with directions and recommendations for local tours. FREE waffles every evening and coffee all day.

The room was a little small. I wish i had MORE space.

The location is GREAT. It is close to town and all major attractions are within walking distance. the bus stop is also near the hotel. I REALLY enjoyed the accessibility.

Simple Comforts in a Central Spot

tea station afternoon waffles central location

i found the free coffee and tea station very heartwarming, a nice touch. waffles in the afternoon were available and so tasty. the location really worked well for my wanderings about, with just a brief stroll taking me to the heart of everything.

the water pipes above my room made noise almost constantly. it was sometimes difficult to sleep soundly.

my double room included blackout curtains, ideal for a good sleep during the midnight sun. a fridge was also available in the room, a very convenient amenity. the design was cozy and beautiful.
